Mites love beds

The bed is the chosen favorite place for mites among all the places in the apartment. Everybody loses up to 0.5 liters of moisture and a few grams of skin cells during the night by sweating. While the moisture can usually be released back into the room air by sufficient daily ventilation, the scales remain inside the mattress even with the most careful cleaning. The dandruff is the preferred food of mites, which feel well in the wet and nutrient-rich climate of a bed and multiply rapidly. Although mites themselves are not dangerous or transmit diseases, their excretions can cause allergic reactions. The excrements of the mites combine with the house dust, and every time you move your mattress or shake out the textiles, you distribute the mixture in the room air. With the nocturnal rest, it is quickly over: Just in the place of deepest rest and relaxation - your bed - you suffer especially in the morning under the known annoying symptoms.

Mites have no chance in waterbeds

Waterbeds are always heated. The constant heat causes a rapid and reliable removal of moisture from the cover into the room. The livelihood "damp" you have so already removed the mite. In addition, the waterbed has an impermeable core, on the surface of which the mites gather and can not penetrate deeper. You can simply wipe this surface with a damp cloth. If you use special vinyl cleaning wipes or vinyl sprays from specialist retailers, you can even combine cleaning with an extra dose of care for the material. The textile cover over the water core is available in different versions and can be washed in the domestic washing machine. As a rule, a quarterly cleaning is sufficient, depending on the intensity of your allergy, you can also keep the cleansing rhythm shorter. Either way, in any case, after a successful cleaning everything is really clean. Whether mites, dust, dirt or bacteria - none of this is more in your waterbed.
